Also, a lot of the MLK moral shenanigans were corroborated by RFK. I remember reading credible stories about how he and J. Edgar Hoover would listen to FBI surveillance tapes of MLK in the middle of his “indiscretions” and laugh at him. All the while RFK’s public face was pro-MLK, and very much an advocate of MLK’s ideas.
