He is a shallow and poorly read man. We should never forget that he has been elected the leader of the United States primarily because of the color of his skin. A large number of guilt tripped white voters cast their ballot mostly to prove that “I’m not a racist.”
I believe that it’s more shallow and self-absorbed than that for some. I think the reason that many people voted for him is that they wanted to be “a part of history,” (look at all the cheap dime-store memorabila that’s being peddled) and the reason that the press promoted him was that they wanted to say that they wrote about that history.
