Morality encompasses so much more than just the private behavior between consenting adults. An example, for instance, would be a politician lying to the public in order to get reelected. It’s a shame that we have so many people on the left who have such a poor understanding of this but that really isn’t my fault as they simply didn’t make the necessary effort to come to a proper understanding of what morality is.
And I’ll continue to keep on voting since I actually have a basic understanding of what morality is, as well as not suffering from any of the illusions of what sort of “problems” that the left thinks our government has in dealing with the “torture” of poor ol’ KSM and his two al Qaeda buddies in murder and mayhem. But, feel free to continue to fight for KSM: The rest of us will simply point out that folks like yourself are far more interested in protecting KSMs of the world from the American public than in protecting the American public from the KSMs of the world.
