I would have had an easier time believing the article if one of the first facts about Paul had not been wrong. The New Republic Article states that Paul served in the Army. That is incorrect. He served in the Air Force, and that fact is widely publicised. Perhaps historical facts are not important to the editors of the New Republic. I don’t know. What I do know is that if they can’t the the uncontroversial facts straight I have less of a reason to believe their more shocking claims.
