I am currently of the opinion that Giuliani is the best candidate for the job, but I did not think he came off that well in this particular interview. I’ve heard him in other situations and he has a clear agenda. I think the interviewers were knowledgable and passionate about the issues they raised whereas these were not really things Mr. G. had a mastery of or clear ideas on. His answers were dull.
As to the UN, I would say that it is a failed concept – the nations of the world are not united. The only nations we should league with are our democratic allies. The UN is funded largely by the US but serves mostly to tie our hands and empower the totalitarian amd islamofascist regimes against us.
Mr. G. said we would need to make serious efforts against nukes falling into terrorist hands in a coup – that answer needed to be absolute: Whatever force is required, we will employ, to prevent this from happening. It is UNTHINKABLE.
The US has to take off the gloves – UN be damned – and use overwhelming force with indelicacy to prevent the fascists from getting WMD.
