This series of interviews is a great service to the American public, and perhaps the world at large. I hope the Romney, Huckabee, and the Democrats agree to participate.
I was a little disappointed in Rudy’s answers regarding the UN: no matter how Claudia pressed him, he couldn’t seem to focus on what’s needed to reform the organization and what it’s role is vis-a-vis the US. On the other hand, I was very pleased to hear him say plainly that an American president protects American interests, regardless of UN approval.
To be honest, I got more in this interview than I imagine I would ever get from two full pages in the LA Times.
