Let’s clarify the difference between criminal and civil, for the mouth breathers. If you drive your vehicle at a speed in excess of the posted maximum speed, you are given a citation. When you sign that citation you are promising to appear in court to answer the charges. You have broken the law by speeding but it is not criminal – it is civil. When, however, you are caught driving your car while drinking alcohol and playing with your 13 year old cousin, you have committed a criminal offense and will be taken to jail and booked. Now do you understand the difference?
And for all the KKK responders, your information (assuming you actually have some statistics at your fingertips) is absolutely wrong. Undocumented workers pay much more into the system than they ever get in return. For example, they are subsidizing our social security accounts by billions of dollars every year because they pay into the system but never take a penny out. And when is the last time you saw a clerk at the store tell a Mexican that they didn’t have to pay taxes on their purchase because they have no papers? Did they get a rebate at the gas pump? Does their property-tax paying landlord charge them less rent because they are not here legally? Actually, you don’t really need statistics – just common sense!
