TexEd is correct. Camelot Caroline couldn’t bear the thought of soiling herself by direct contact with common working-class people. Indeed, how utterly distasteful that might have been? And….my word, what would have been spoken of her in the country clubs, art galleries, philanthropic events and of course, the opera and symphony. How common of her, has she utterly forgotten her breeding…her place in society?
