What appears t be quick recovery in Pakistan could actually be a continued apathy of the people.
What appears as a Government cover-up could actually be a cover-up to the actual cause of Bhutto’s’ death.
It is very common for Muslim leaders to attribute an action to God’s will to escape any intention or ill will against another. After all when God/Allah wishes someone to die all outside efforts to stop or defer the imminent will of God is futile. This cleanses and frees any participants of guilt for passive or active participation in what is attributed to God’s will.
While we a free thinking Westerners carry less of a burden of guilt for blaming actual culprits for contributing or creating situations such as what we witnessed in Pakistan we are less able to empathize with the culture itself.
Since 9/11 we as Americans were thrusted into an instant history lesson with hit and miss facts and information. While many writers got stuck on current events they missed the opportunity to help the readers understand what they can do to identify and combat the Extremist Muslim’s from taking opportunity of an occasional skirmish to take over the world.
Religion is not bad and is necessary to the continued development of society. But the ancient wars of the Eleventh Century are over. The Roman rule ended. And since that time many leaders have come to the understanding that the average man and woman is just like us and have no desire to become a slave to another person.
And for some of the men and women of the world they have come to understand they can not remove something which is embedded in a persons culture without providing an adequate substitute first. That, in spite of the skewed facts of history, all religions have a connection to explain the creation of the universe and the world as being an act of God or God’s will. And the act of God is that unexplained phenomena of science, math, and other facts we as people do not understand. And that an individuals death during an assassins attack is not solely the will of God per say but the co-operation of men and women willing to trade and exchange ideals for anarchy.
What I see in a man like Musharif is a man who is scared and understands he has made the world a very unsafe place through his own actions. Not only is it unsafe for him , but it is unsafe for his children and offspings.
