Yes, I know you’re going for a mental image here, and having been in the army in the 80′s I don’t really have the enough similar experience to know if you’re wrong or not–but somehow, “sipping coffee and commiserating” isn’t how I imagine flights out of Vietnam in 1975.
Am I reading too much into this, or have we just learned a little something about how you view the military and/or the end of South Vietnam?
