Whatever the history–which you distort heavily, may I say–does it seem justifiable to you to put your own children in the harm’s way in order to regain “your” lands, unless the lives of these children are expedable but useful in the mediatic war?
If land for peace is what Palestinians wanted, why didn’t they build up Gaza into a state in 2005, after a complete withdrawal by the Israelis? Why did they destroy those precious greenhouses? Why didn’t they build schools, create jobs, etc. with all the money from international relief? Why didn’t they start developing the land into a viable entity–you don’t need much land to do it; look at Hong Kong–allowing, instead, a lack market economy thru the tunnels into Egypt, flowing with weapons, ecomomy in which Hamas takes the lion’s share?
Or is it that Palestinians don’t really want land for peace, or peace of any kind, but Israel’s destruction, at any cost?
