Israel’s Scramble to End the War Too Soon

Today after Israel enacted their unilateral cease-fire Hamas launched another 20 rocket salvo and demanded an immediate cease-fire from Israel. This happened at least 12 hours after the cease-fire had already happened.

Then they announced that Israel must withdraw within a week, which were already the announced and signed conditions from all of the major powers.

Oh no, they did say something. Yesterday the Hamas leader “in exile” (meaning he has not lived in Gaza among Palestinians for many years and stays in wealth, security and luxury in Damascus and elsewhere while his people hurt and suffer) Said this:

….
“We will not accept Israel’s conditions for a cease-fire,” Mashaal told the summit. He said Hamas demands that “the aggression stop,” Israeli troops withdraw and crossings into Gaza be opened immediately.
….

The next day he “demands” a cease fire based entirely along the lines Israel has already agreed to and enacted – on their own terms.

Sorry Mashaal. You showed up at the dance without a date when the party was already over.

You sleep alone tonight.
