European’s casual denigration of Israel reminds me of the last 8 years of liberals casual denigration of George Bush. It might be dismissed as garden variety scapegoating, except that their common attribute of appeasement and avoidance of conflict, by avoiding setting legal and cultural limits with muslims, is so obviously suicidal it is remarkable, even incredible, considering the history of most of the 20th century.
