“It is simplistic to confuse anti-Israeli sentiment with anti-Semitism.”

There is considerable overlap between the two, whether you admit it or not.

“The surest way to eradicate anti-Israel sentiment on the bus stop is not to rail against an illusory anti-Semitism, but for Israel to act as a God fearing nation.”

Is “Hamas, Hamas, Jews to the gas” an example of “illusory” anti-semitism? And does “God fearing” mean that Israel lets Hamas rockets rain down on its citizens without doing anything about it? Do you consider Hamas to be “God fearing”?
