No matter how many times I read of Israeli history (in abundance recently to better understand, fathom Jew’s RIGHT to Peace), logical, lucid comments (thank you Fred, Spindok and Tino.. as well as you other level headed folks) I’m forever taken aback by the animosity directed towards Israel.

The Palestinian people elect Hamas as leaders. Not limited to Government positions, but Hamas members present in their Police force and other ruling bodies.

Egypt, Jordan and other neighboring countries don’t want nor allow them in their country.

The billions of dollars and aid to these ingrates. All these subsidies and Gaza still looks like Juarez, Mexico..!

There’s dozens of other obvious reasons and I didn’t even touch on the atrocities bestowed upon the Israeli people.

All this, and still a vast majority of the world is siding with Gaza? In essence, siding with Hamas..?

I tell ya, if I wasn’t married I would surely volunteer my services to Israel. Albeit I’m but a Meteorologist and the locale of this conflict boasts of kind weather most days.

Nonetheless, the love for my Jewish brothers and sisters transcends time and bridges any distance. Though I’m not Jewish, we share a common duality in the right to exist and live with no fear..
