The local editor is clearly a partisan given the disparaging characterizations of Thompson and his wife. I guess they don’t call it the Waverly Democrat for nothing.
But this really takes the cake:
“When I asked him specifically what he would do as prez for farmers in Bremer County, he resorted to glittering generalities.”
The entitlement that some of these people feel is breathtaking! Iowa is not looking good. These people are extortionists! It is not just the politicians fault. Good for Fred to not pander to their ethanol-subsidy addiction.
