Al Murtha is the correct usage.

It is appareantly no guarantee that a person who has once demonstrated courage and gallantry under fire will not revert to type when no longer in a combat situation. Al Murtha is, of course, besides a highly decorated war hero, also an unindicted subject of ABSCAM and a notoriously “progressive” and pork dealing member of the Democratic Majority.

Randy Cunningham also comes to mind. Viet Nam era Navy figher ace who used his office to enrich himself through bribery and whatnot. Totally dishonered himself and the Naval Service, while betraying the office he held and the oath he took.

Al Murtha pretty much fits right in with the Duke.
