You are right, America – a nation founded by secularist Christians who declared in their Constitution the separation of state from religion – has been incredibly generous and hospitable to its Jewish citizenry. And that is why Jewish people here as in any country which they reside pray for the well-being of the government and its leaders.
According to sources, your perspective on early Jewish persecution of Christians is overstated. On the other hand, while acknowledging the many righteous Christian individuals and leaders who have shown great tolerance and kindness to Jews and Judaism, the counterpoint of Christian persecution of Jews is sadly extensive.
