Are you serious? Paki is in the same league as nigger? I doubt it. Just drop the word nigger into Harry’s sentence and see how ugly it sounds. ‘Paki’ may be mildly offensive and a little racist but it sure isn’t in the same class as ‘nigger’ which is always a derogatory term implying some kind of sub-human class. We play cricket against a team we harmlessly call the ‘The Paki’s’. I don’t think I’ll ever seeing us playing against a team we harmlessly call ‘The Niggers’ even if it was composed fully of black Americans.
