USCIRF has been a front for advancing the freedom to convert to Christianity from other religions so it is a good riddance. They have not really cared about other religious freedoms. The evangelical community lobbied for 2 decades to get this going. The’ll get it back up and running. Don’t worry. Spending tax payer dollars for their benefit is what the Evangelical community is rather good at.
