Those of you who want to cut everything in gov, including the endlist list of leftist agencies, have some standing in supporting cuts in USCRIF. But Dick Durbans position, cutting USCRIF so he can fund some pork in his state, is completely indefensible. But if looking for cuts, I would be inclined to cut foreign aid to some of these countries first, or perhaps cut support for some more leftist orientated international agencies, and keep USCRIF until most of the leftist waste is gone. If the left only supports cuts to non-leftist agencies, then the right is sort of unilaterally disarming if they only cut what the left will accept.
