Peter replies back: No. I don’t. Any more than our attack on the Taliban was disproportionate. If someone attacks you, if you don’t want them to attack again, you crush them so they are unwilling to risk ever harming you again.
Was the Allies response to Germany in WWII disproportionate? Was the Allies response to Japan disproportionate.
This may be hgard to comprehend, but War is Hell. (I know, I fought in one.) And sometimes the only way to prevent it from continuing it to make sure your enemy does not have the means or will to continue.
If Hamas is so concerned about thair civilians (which considering they have been starving them out for the last three years while they spend their money on weapons, they obviously are not) then they would play by the rules, wear the uniforms they are so proud of in all their propoganda films, and not hide behind women and children.
