Wow, there are a lot of sad and angry people here and I feel sorry for all of you.
No one is really threatened by Joe’s reporting. The MSM is really laughing at him, because this stint will evaporate quickly. Look, there was a time in this country where we had high standards for people, we expected hard work and knowledge. For this guy to fancy himself as a reporter that cannot even grasp basic grammar and basic respect for the English language, it really is an embarrassing sign that we don’t hold people to standards anymore.
I feel badly for all the people on here who are angry at anyone who has an education (GWB had a great one, by the way, at the most elite schools, but you seem to forgive him because he, too, has a harder time with English than many naturalized immigrants I know.)
You must be in a bad place if you think educated people are the source of your pain. You must be in a bad place to insist that a good education means you lack common sense.
Because in the mean time, people with good educations actually have a lot of common sense, and it is evidenced in the fact that they make more money live better and healthier lives than you probably do. You can fool yourself and convince yourself that you are somehow better, that you possess something they don’t, but it isn’t true.
Earning 40K and drinking beer out of a can doesn’t make you a better person. Hate to break it to ya.
