Regarding the comment by Tom Tom, I would defend Ijaz. The fact that the question makes people uncomfortable reveals a subtle and dangerous association that links Muslims in general to terror. This is a big mistake. Our integrated American muslim community forms a unique situation that may be our best defense. I am glad that people like Ijaz are willing to bring a sledge hammer to this sort of public forum. Open and public dialogue is better than priviledged and private campaigns. We don’t want subtlety to elude us. Let’s remember why America is strong.
