Emily, I am not speaking from a European point of view. As a matter of fact, USA is not exactly a place many people want to visit. You will find that the whole world dislike the Americans, so better not step out of the USA. If your parents roots are European then you should be proud of that and should not be proud to being an American. Obviously, you are probably have been brain washed by the American culture; which is everyone in this world is inferior to the Americans.
