You seem unable to grasp that the reason for stories making the news/being newsworthy is that they are unusual, exceptions, out of the ordinary. Any nutcase from any religion, nationality or political tradition can bring a lawsuit, if it is unfounded they will lose.

This doesn’t change the fact that the other 95%+ of muslims working in the UK wear similar clothes to westerners, when we have buffets at business meetings they don’t scream that everybody must eat halal food, they just pass on the ham sandwich, when we go to the pub together they have a coke instead of a beer.

Maybe the Muslims that you have in Italy are less well integrated I don’t know, maybe your Albanians have been badly treated, or maybe it’s just a personal thing, if you accuse them of being evil bridgeheads trying to destroy the west then it’s not surprising that they don’t take kindly to you.

lol, so you are basically saying that you know exactly what people who I know fairly well are thinking, what their opinions are and how they conduct themselves better than I do even though you have never met them and have no knowledge of them, their backgrounds or their opinions. All you know is that they apparently label themselves as Muslims and you think this is enough to form an opinion? Rarely have I heard such stupidity and arrogance.

Really? No Swedish man has ever raped a woman?? I find this very unlikely.

In the UK most honour killings occur in the muslim community but there are examples amongst sikhs and hindus too. Specifically it’s a problem amongst the Kashmiri Pakistani muslim community, not Malaysians or Kuwaitis or citizens of the UAE. It is therefore not a muslim thang, just because a region is Islamic, this does not mean that everything that happens in the culture of that region is Islamic, surely you can see this. bavaria is catholic but that doesn’t mean that wearing lederhosen is a cultural trait that can be blamed on Catholicism.

Actually, Catholics have had their own schools, jews have had their own courts and exemptions from animal cruelty laws for kosher products, sikhs have had police uniforms changed to suit their requirements etc. Vietnamese and Chinese immigrants have translation services provided by local councils. Other examples are numerous.

I’m sure that you watch these stories every night, it would explain a lot. It just goes to show that those who say that the western media has some sort of ‘pro-muslim’ agenda are way off the mark. I could find stories about people being horribly treated by almost any group on earth but that doesn’t change the fact that people are individuals, they are not 100% defined by a particular grouping that they belong to and the principle of guilt by association or guilt by kinship and co-religion have no place in the civilised world.

Oh dear, should people consult Susan before naming their children? The sons of many Chinese here have Chinese names but this is not a problem. We have a tradition here that if you obey the law, you are free to live your life how you wish. Maybe you could learn something from this.

If your definition of intelligence is ‘agreeing with Susan’ then this is a definition that not many will recognise.
