My bovine excrement detector has gone off. Jamie Leigh Jones’s allegations do not sound credible. I strongly suspect that she is lying. It is very unlikely that a fairly large number of people would conspire against her. Army doctors and other professionals are usually quite unwilling to protect rapists.
The odds are that a reputable news organization should easily find huge holes in Ms. Jones’ story. But this is their way of avoiding the good news of Iraq and instead focus on “the evils of President Bush’s war.”
