The people of Iran are not life long enemies of the United States. Prior to carter letting the Shaw fall and radicals take over, Iran was our best asset in the middle east.
Anyone who is familiar with the Persians living in America know that they are some of the best Americans we have.
Our problems are with a freaked out death cult that was encouraged by our side to stop the Russians in afghanistan.
