Sigh…. The point of the video – which you seemed to have missed, Jackie – is that the dangers gays face in strict Islamic societies is far worse than anything they experience here in America, where their biggest concern is what they will wear to the next Gay Pride Parade not whether or not they will be allowed to live. I’m sure your little rant is due to opposition to gay marriage, which is not limited to any religion nor equates to wanting gays dead (it’s actually a rather long-held notion, certainly predating the start of this country). Wake up and start living in the real world.
I wish I could remember the name of the recent book by the gay American who moved to Europe to escape our “fundamentalist” attitudes and ended up moving back after he got some perspective because I would certainly recommend that you read it.
