Susan,
I’m not avoiding any subject. You are accusing Muslims of rape. I don’t know what you’re talking about. Where does Islam sanction rape? Please find me examples in the Quran? I’ve read the the Quran countless times, in Arabic also, because I’ve studied Arabic for over 3 years. You made a claim now it’s up to you to put forth evidence. Let’s start with the Quran before you move on to Hadith or secondary sources of Islamic knowledge. I’m waiting your for your evidence and support. Let’s take one issue at a time analyze it, reason it then form a fair and objective conclusion about your misunderstanding. We ll take each issue one at a time.
Also, I said theological. Theology is the study of doctrine and belief, not about actions. Of course, theology and belief should guide our actions, but sometimes our actions dont always properly reflect our belief. Belief tends to be in the heart and mind.
I’m waiting for your supporting evidence about the sanction of rape in Islam. To my credit, I ve never raped a woman and I’ve never heard an Imam sanction the rape of women in the mosques of any country I ve resided in.
Sincerely,
Steven Lilleyman
May the grace and mercy of Allah find you with accepting Islam.
