Peter responds: Well you have to admit, you can’t get much work done when you have to go prey in the mosque every couple of hours unlike the rest of the productive world.
I have to admit, I served with several Muslims during my time in the Navy, but they were far from typical. They didn’t expect to be given time off to prey every few hours. They didn’t demand we not serve certain foods because it was against their religion. If we had something going (like the nightly movie) that didn’t agree with their view of the world, they didn’t complain that it must stop, they simply didn’t hang out in crew’s mess while it was going on. If only the rest of the world’s Muslims could be as tolerant, like most other people are.
