I follow Russia very closely, too, Kim. A hangover of being in the Navy in the Cold War, in part. Through the sad ’90s and demise of DemRussia. And very important again with Russia’s re-emergence as a major global player.
I hadn’t seen this article, but have seen hundreds of stories in the US and Western media — including the lefty Guardian — about Putin the autocrat.
Putin and company are very upset about their media coverage in the US and the West, as you know. Maybe they’ll give this poor fellow a medal.
