A Toast to Old Media’s — and Old Medea’s — Defeat in Iraq
This time the media got a rude shock. They thought they were simply going to replay Vietnam. What they didn’t count was the internet and new media like Rush, Sean and Mark Levin who provided the counter to their efforts to make us give up. Of course another big help was the left’s own vile behavior during the Vietnam War toward our military. Because of that they couldn’t go after our troops without suffering a huge backlash, which deprived them of one of their favorite tactics.
