Steve P: “Yellowcake uranium is a commonly traded commodity.”
The Iraqis had 500 tons of yellowcake uranium on hand or 1/2 or 1% of an entire annual world production of yellow cake uranium.

At the current spot price of uranium (US$53) – that tonnage in Iraq was worth $53,000,000. So are you blithely suggesting that this is no big deal? Also, do you understand that uranium can be enriched and that Iraq has NO nuclear power stations? Again..
