I have no doubt Burris will never serve a day in the Senate.
Reid could take advantage of the situation by saying the Senate refuses to seat Burris under the Constitutional provision giving the Congress the final say in sitting members regardless of the election outcome. He can hold hearings saying that the nomination is tainted and then call Blago as the first witness. Get Blago under oath he will refuse to testify and Obama and Reid can declare case closed and pick another black person for the seat.
