I’m from Illinois, where Obama won the Senate seat by default (the Republican party in this state is in shambles) and not merit. After the win, he went on world tours promoting his book and himself, and has done nothing of note for the state. Nothing. Ask any Illinoisian what Obama has done for the state and they’ll stutter.
I’m not saying he’s a bad guy, but electing him President would be like picking someone off the street and plopping him in the White House.
