You claim that “nobody knows what Chavez will do”.
I beg to differ. He’ll blame George Bush, he’ll blame the United States, he’ll blame the Zionists, he’ll blame the CIA, and he’ll claim that the Peoples’ Resolutions failed because of outside intervention. Then he’ll claim invasion is imminent, declare martial law, pass the Resolutions by fiat and smoke a celebratory cigar with Castro.
What nobody knows is how vigorously the American Left will support Chavez, will it be fanatically supportive or merely wildly supportive as he crushes the Venezuelans?
