I was surprised by how little sympathy even Le Monde seemed to have for the rioters. Yes, they published that craven op-ed by Pupponi et al, but the coverage itself seemed less biased than, say, the New York Times’. (I haven’t seen the French TV coverage but I’m guessing France 2 blamed the Jews.)
