I think that you have missed the point. If the government-run media allows the Obama Administration to investigate – and exonerate – itself, they certainly won’t investigate the illegal fundraising the Obama campaign did.
And while it’s true that journalists are not on the government payroll (at least, until the media demands and receives a government bailout) they certainly act like paid government spokesmen. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck….
It will take people some time to realize it, but we will be living in a dictatorship as of January 20, 2009. And in a dictatorship the powers that be are protected by the press. In Minnesota we are already watching an election being stolen by the party in power, which is another feature of dictatorships.
