The Arabs need to “win”, before there can be peace.
Therefore, Israel needs to take more land, and civilize it, so as to be ready to “lose” it back to the Arabs.
When splitting a cake, one says “half for me”, the other says “all for me”. Does that mean the first step is the greedy one gets his half (both agree on that), and then there are negotiations?
The Palestinians claim Israel is the greedy one — if Israel acted more greedy, and take more now, they could give more back for peace later.
