Yeah, strange how people forget so much isn’t it? Like how Toyota and Honda went bankrupt in the late 1980s as Corollas and Civics piled up on the docks unsold. Like how gas prices plunged due to Reagan’s (partial) deregulation of the oil companies and ending of Carter’s so-called windfall profits tax.
