All I ask is that people set aside their assumptions and look at both sides. That’s something many people here are unable to do. Almost everyone that has posted already has very clear ideas.
First of all, equating environmentalism has NOTHING to do with Marxism. Anyone who thinks there is a connection is an idiot. Period. Marxism is your catch-all “insult” and you have no idea what it even means.
Second, the complaints against environmentalists being pompous simply will not stand to reason. I can be a huge jerk, but I can also be completely correct. I can be a nice guy, but i can be completely wrong. To dismiss something because you don’t like the messenger is beyond stupid.
As I’ve said many times, I’m not a save-the-planet nut, nor am I a self-righteous zealot. There ARE some important environmental issues. Anyone who doesn’t admit that there are at least SOME issues is too stubborn to be taken seriously.
