Conspiracy theories abound…about FDR and Pearl Harbor…about the mob and JFK’s assassination…about 9/11…and why? Mainly because human nature can’t handle the reality that something like this could happen. With all of our knowledge, technology, etc. How on earth could a bunch of fanatics pull off something like this? We want to be able to pin it on Bush, when the ultimate responsibility always has and always will rest on those who carried out an act of war they had been planning for nearly 10 years. Those of you still denying that it was, in deed, an ACT OF WAR need your heads examined. Bin Laden has NEVER made any secret of his intentions. It is a demonstrable fact that he started declaring war on U.S., the ‘great satan’ as early as the late 80s or early 90s, and has repeated it numerous times. An inconvenient fact for conspiracy nutjobs everywhere! The problem was, we collectively denied that his rants were anything other than those of a crazed fanatic, and that he could ultimately pull it off.
But if you really want to blame somebody in the U.S. government, consider the denial of the Clinton administration that the 1993 attack on WTC was exactly that…an act of war, and that their naive treatment of that event as a ‘crime’ and refusal to go after Al Quaeda then and there was more to blame than anyone or anything else! Oh and don’t forget that he had 3-4 opportunities to take out Bin Laden, and didn’t do it!! And then there’s the other fact that one of Clinton’s appointees, Jamie Gorelick, was responsible for the barrier that prevented information sharing between the CIA and the FBI. And that, folks, is the REAL scandle when it comes to the 9/11 commission, that that woman was allowed to serve on it!!! Oh, and when it comes to cooperation with the commission, who could forget the infamous Sandy BURGLAR, stuffing classified documents into his shorts and spiriting them off to some construction sight to conveniently lose! There, you want conspiracy? Why don’t you try looking in the correct direction–LEFT!!!!!!!!!
