Pardon me for being blunt, but anyone who voted for McCain because of Palin better stay away from used car lots. There were only two major party candidates for the office of the President of the United States. McCain picked Palin solely and only to distract conservatives, just as Obama picked Biden to appear serious about foreign policy. I voted for Chuck Baldwin and the Constitution Party on election day as a matter of principle. Events since then have only confirmed the rightness of my choice. I will continue to default to the Constitution Party until the Republicans both speak AND act on a reform agenda of simplifying and making transparent the tax system, long term reduction of entitlement commitments, and a thoroughgoing elimination of onerous, growth-retarding government regulations and so-called “support” of the economy under a program of responsible government.
