The UK is a tiny place, not much bigger than Florida. Many people clock up more miles commuting in a week than is needed to drive to their nearest port. So any Brit who can fill the tank of their commuter vehicle can drive to their nearest port and leave.

Boats produce hardly any carbon dioxide, so emigrating remains an option for Brits.

While the Brits are facing carbon rationing imposed by their Scottish ruling class, the good people of the USA are facing a de-facto carbon rationing as the sliding dollar makes petrochemicals prohibitively expensive.

But that’s all “free markets”, so US liberty can be removed by rising prices and the politicians won’t be to blame, will they?
