Groping Hillary Without Consequences: The Case of Jon Favreau
The comments on this article are just as revealing about how men think images of female degredation will be tolerated. Boys will be boys right? If this were my company, I can assure you that Favreau would have been fired. We don’t tolerate sexism, and it is considered a form of violence.
If Obama is serious about serving women as president, then he needs to make it known loud and clear that any treatment of his cabinet member in this manner is out of bounds and wrong.
These stupid young men will learn soon enough, but only have their careers are ruined. Otherwise, they’ll never have a clue about what violence against women is really all about. It starts with images, and it moves to real actions against real women.
Shame on the men here for their hatred of women, and shame on Obama for his silence. Guess men really can’t represent women after all.
