Groping Hillary Without Consequences: The Case of Jon Favreau
This article is spot on – about the double standards, about Carville’s pathetic response, and especially about Obama’s refusal to make a public statement about the matter. Of course, this would be consistent with own sexist view of women and treatment of them. He was the one who flipped Hillary the middle finger, and when questioned about it, lacked the testicular fortitude to own up to it – like some high school freshman. He lacks even a modicum of class. If that were not the case, Obama would have at least given his usual bs statement… “That’s not the Jon I knew.” I mean he’s said it about Wright, Phleger, Ayers, and on and on. He might have at least used the opportunity to send a message to young men and boys – that this is inappropriate behavior. One would think he would want to send a message to young girls too, especially since he has daughters, assuring them that they have a right to demand that their bodies not be objectified and molested. Yet another missed (or totally ignored) opportunity by Obama to do the right thing. How many more missed opportunities will we witness before he’s out of office?
