It is not the Church’s sole responsibility to lead the resistance to Chavez. It is the responsibility of the people of Venezuela themselves to see the threat and secure liberty for their nation. Certainly the guilt for totalitarian abuses will not fall on the Church. The guilt belongs to Chavez and his cronies and to all the suckers who fall for his line of baloney.
