While this may seem like a minor point in your article, I do think it bears correction. NPR, PBS and other “public media” outlets of that type are not “government-controlled” as you stated in your piece.
While the CPB does indeed receive cash from federal appropriations, it’s a measly sum (a little over $400 million per year) and there are no content or editorial controls that flow with that money.
