_Parents_ are responsible for offspring.

If you don’t want children, ensure that you won’t have them – use birth control yourself or become neutered. Even with that, sometimes pregnancy still occurs.

Teach children not to rely upon other people’s assurances that a pregnancy will not result.

It doesn’t matter whose fault it is. There is still a child to be raised.

And teach children that life isn’t fair, so they don’t grow up into adults who constantly complain about the unfairness of it all.
